Research and Teaching Interests
My research addresses privacy and security challenges that must be overcome to realize the full potential of big data research. In particular, I design, implement, and evaluate systems with provable privacy guarantees for data management in different application scenarios such as healthcare, location-based services, and social networks. In solving practical problems in these areas, I employ techniques from machine learning, cryptography, and computer systems.
