Research and Teaching Interests
The Wilkins Laboratory studies plant resilience in the context of climate change. We use systems biology to predict and manipulate gene regulatory networks in plants, including cereal crops and forest trees. Our research group focuses on three principle themes: regulatory network divergence; cell type specific regulatory networks, gene regulation in complex environments.
