CO-OP Program

Apply what you have learned in the classroom, while gaining on-the-job experience. Complete your science degree (major or honours), while rotating between the classroom and paid work experience. You can choose from co-op programs at a variety of locations in industry, government, and university laboratories or field sites.

Students can choose the co-op option from the following degree programs:

Applying to Science Co-op

You generally apply in the 2nd year of your program. The application deadline is in March. Applications are available at the Science Co-op Office. Applying to Computer Science Co-op

Applications are available in the Computer Science Office in E2-499 EITC or online.

You generally apply at the end of your 2nd year (April), once you have completed the majority of the six required 2nd year courses and a minimum of 54 credit hours. Please note that even if you are using the summer term to meet these requirements, you should still submit an application in April.
