Master of Science (M.Sc.)

  • 9 credit hrs of graduate level courses including CHEM 7900 (Seminar)
  • Academic Integrity Tutorial (Grad 7500)
  • Research Proposal (12 month milestone)
  • Written Thesis
  • Oral Examination and Defence of Thesis

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)

  • 6 credit hrs of graduate level courses (beyond M.Sc.) plus CHEM 7900 if not already completed as a M.Sc. student
  • Academic Integrity Tutorial (Grad 7500)
  • Research Proposal (12 month milestone)
  • Candidacy Exam (24 month milestone)
  • Departmental Colloquium (36 month milestone)
  • Written Thesis
  • Oral Examination and Defence of Thesis
